Beech Wood Cooking Splits
Beech wood is an unbelievable fire-cooking wood, but it has to be very dry to perform to it's full potential so we kiln dry it to less than 15% moisture. Beech cooking wood burns clean, smells amazing and creates long-lasting embers - perfect for cooking over an open fire. We do all the hard work for you, splitting the beech wood to precise thicknesses so you don't have to.
We use beech wood cooking splits on their own or add them to a charcoal base when we're cooking on our Asado grill and our Kadai firepit, and they can be used the same way in any open fire. Beech wood cooking splits are also amazing for ramping up the temperature of a pizza oven before you start adding larger logs!
