Broken Recycled Briquettes
You save wonky fruit from landfill, you get damaged coffee pods delivered in the post and you always buy the stuff in damaged packaging - this is the firewood for you!
Made in the UK, these briquettes are produced from sawmill waste otherwise bound for landfill. The briquettes are dense, heavy and as good as any "perfect" heat logs you can buy, they're just... well... broken. Once broken they don't run through the manufacturer's packaging machinery, so they're shipped to us in bulk and we pack them by hand into plastic-free packaging.
The briquettes work brilliantly mixed with our kiln dried logs - they don't produce such long lasting embers, so we don't typically use them on their own - and they're awesome if you've lost concentration and let your fire go out, as they light super easily and provide a fast kick of heat. The briquettes are usually pretty small and they also break easily, so they can be used in wood burning stoves of all sizes.
Due to the nature of this product and our zero plastic packaging policy, please do not request DPD to leave them safe unless your safe space is completely out of the rain.
