This year we're also opening it up to those without social media via a form entry, so there'sĀ no excuseĀ not to get involved!

How does it work?
- Entries are open via our website or social media fromĀ 1st May - 30th May 2025Ā š
- To enter, tag @planetfriendlyfirewood in a photo or video of a pizza you made and use the hashtag #besthomepizzauk orĀ upload it via the form on our website
- If you enter via Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, it has to be a proper post, not a story! š±
- The Love Logs team will choose our favourite 15 entries to be put to the public vote ā
- From 3rd - 10th June, our customers and fellow pizza enthusiasts can vote for the pizzaiolo they'dĀ most like to see in the final ā
- TheĀ fourĀ entries with the most votes will be invited to take part in the live, in-person final, alongside a wildcard chosen by the Love Logs team, to cook their pizzas for our panel of judges š§š½āāļø
- If you're selected as a finalist, we'll ask you to travel to Peterborough on 12th July to make your dough and spend some time with the other finalists, and stop over in the beautiful Lady Rothschild Dairy to cook in the live final on 13th July š„
- You'll make one classic Neapolitan margherita followed by your choice of 'doughstopper' Ā šā

The detail
Love Logs will provide
- Dinner and an overnight stay for each finalist and one guest from 12th - 13th July
- Surface and storage space at room temperature for finalists to prep their dough on 12th July, ready for cooking on 13th July
- A choice of pizza ovens to cook with, including wood-fired and electric ovens
- Firewood for your preferred pizza if wood fired
- Bakers board, utensils and workspace to make dough, prep ingredients and of course, build and bake your pizzas
- All the ingredients you need to make your pizzas from a selected list of retail outlets - unless you'd prefer to bring your own to keep the element of surprise!
Finalists must
- Not be employed as a pizza chef or run a pizza restaurant or catering business as your main source of income. Pop-up caterers are allowed, but please use sensible judgement - this is a competition for home pizza chefs š©š½āš³ The Love Logs team reserve final judgement on whether your entry will stand.
- Have the means to travel to Peterborough on 12th July and return home the following day
The legal bits
- The promoter is Love Logs Ltd (company no. 2663961) whose registered office is at Anglo House, Stourport-on-Severn, DY13 9AW
- Employees of Love Logs Limited, their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition
- You must be a UK resident, and over the age of 18 to enter.
- The competition will close at 23.59 on 30th May 2025. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted or accepted.
- Love Logs Limited reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the case of any event outside of the promoterās control.
- Entry is via Facebook/Instagram/TikTok or the Love Logs website using the process described above to create a shortlist of 15 entrants which will be put to the public vote.Ā
- Entrants must be free and able to travel to Peterborough on 12th July 2025 and stay until 13th July 2025.
- Finalists will be the 5 entrants with the most public votes
- Where a finalist is not able to attend the event from 12th - 13th July in Peterborough, they will be immediately disqualified and replaced with the entrant with the next highest number of votes.
- Entrants must not be employed as a pizza chef or run a full-time business where they are paid to cook or cater pizza. Finalists found to break this condition will be immediately disqualified and replaced with the entrant with the next highest number of votes.
- Pizzas must be made in a portable home pizza oven, or an indoor home oven. Entrants using commercial or industrial ovens will be disqualified.
- No cash alternative to any of the prizes will be offered.Ā
- The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
- In reference to prizes, āa yearās supplyā refers to one Fuel Kit every quarter for the next year.
- The promoterās decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.Ā
- All finalists agree to the use of their name, photo and social media handle in any publicity material.
- Finalists agree to be photographed and videoed throughout the day, all photos and videos will be the property of Love Logs Limited and can be used in any publicity material.
- Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party (with no relation to the competition) without the entrantās prior consent.
- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
