Sorry to disappoint you but we rarely discount and we never offer public discount codes – you need to be signed up to our mailing list and/or following us on socials to see when we release a discount code.

Firewood is a very low margin industry, and so we don’t have lots of profit to give away through discounting. 

We’d rather price our products fairly and transparently every day than artificially inflate our prices and offer regular discount codes or have a ‘sale’ every week like some of our competitors!

We know we’re not the cheapest firewood provider on the market, and we don’t strive to be!

Our values are quality, convenience and sustainability so we focus on making sure those things are done right, which comes at a cost. We aren’t going to take shortcuts to offer cheap firewood.

For example, there is a common practice in the firewood industry call ‘short-kilning’ where logs are left in the kiln just long enough to make sure the outside of the logs read below 20% on a moisture meter, but the inside is still wet, so they don’t burn well.

We don’t cut those corners - all of our firewood, cooking wood and pizza oven wood is dried so that when it’s split in half, it will read less than 20% moisture at any point in the log, so it will light easily and burn beautifully.

Some firewood suppliers are able to sell cheaper softwood logs, whereas all of our kiln-dried logs are a hardwood mix of ash and beech, which burn hot and leave a great bed of embers. While softwood logs appear cheap on the surface, it's generally a false economy as they burn through too quickly. 

We know it's hard to believe that there's such thing as premium firewood and cheap firewood, but our firewood burns up to 57% longer than cheap logs from the supermarket.

Sustainability is also really important to us and we're proud of the fact that all of our packaging is 100% plastic free. As you can imagine, our ultra-strong, recyclable cardboard boxes come at a much higher price than horrible, cheap, single-use plastic nets.

We're also pleased to support Ripple Africa and plant a tree for every purchase, making our business a regenerative force for good.
